ÄNTLIGEN! At last! Kazuo Ishiguro wins the Nobel Prize!

As I said at least five years ago:

Kazuo Ishiguro is one of the greatest authors of all time! He has been my undisputed favourite author for more than a decade, and he is worthy the prize for some of his works alone, like “The Remains of the Day”, “Never Let Me Go” and “The Buried Giant”!

I hope to meet him in person when he comes to Stockholm!

And yes, I already have his autograph!

  1. The Buried Giant is probably my favorite, though I love all his works. It just nudges out The Remains of the Day, though, at the top, for me. Impressed you have his autograph — never let that go. 🙂

Another great choice by the Nobel Prize Committee for Literature. And it was so pleasant to think about literature today, instead of the usual news we have here in the US.
